INSTRUCTIONS: Pull the rubber insert completely out, lay the leader in the strike indicator slot then stretch the rubber out so it is thinner than the slot, then while holding the strike indicator hold one side of the rubber insert and stretch the other side down into the slot it should now be on top of the leader back in the slot. Once you get it you will find it very easy. You can then slide the strike indicator up or down to the desired depth. The friction of the rubber insert on top of the leader will keep it in place.
