I always have a supply of these on hand, especially for fall eastern trout. They sit high fished dry but work well as a sub-surface streamer as well. Whether fall trout strike them out of aggression (orange seems to be the best colour) or because they look like a big juicy - if oddly coloured - stoneflies I couldn't say. They just work. The Reelflies versions are accurately and solidly tied, and can handle getting hit over and over again.
Muddler Minnow Marabou Brown - Muddler Streamer. The Brown Marabou Muddler Minnow is a very productive Steelhead and Trout lure when utilized properly. Used in rivers this fly is an excellent searching pattern, especially in rivers that are either high or cloudy. This is due to the disturbance this fly creates in the water when the angler is retrieving it.
